NYSC Sets September 7 For 2026 Batch C Registration
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced Monday, September 7 to Sunday, September 13, 2026, as the registration period for prospective corps members under the 2026 Batch C mobilisation exercise.

The scheme disclosed this in a notice issued on Friday, stressing that clearance from the National Education Records Database (NERD) is now a mandatory requirement for all prospective corps members (PCMs).

According to the NYSC, applicants must obtain their NERD Clearance Certificate before commencing the online registration process.

The scheme advised prospective corps members to secure the clearance ahead of the registration window to avoid delays or difficulties during mobilisation.

It warned that candidates without the required clearance would not be able to complete their NYSC registration.
“NERD clearance is compulsory for all PCMs,” the notice stated.
The NYSC further emphasised: “No NERD clearance, no NYSC registration.”

The registration exercise will open on September 7 and close on September 13, after which eligible candidates will proceed to the next stages of the mobilisation process.

The NYSC urged all prospective members of the 2026 Batch C to obtain their NERD clearance early and complete their registration within the stipulated period.
