AAU Management Issues Two-Week Notice To Farmers To Vacate Designated University Lands
Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, has issued a two-week notice to individuals currently farming on designated portions of University land.
According to the notice dated Tuesday, 18 August 2026, the affected areas include portions along the Health Centre Road towards the Staff Quarters, around Dangote Hostel, Odia Hostel, the Main Library area, and behind Okpobho Hostel.
Farmers operating within the affected areas have been directed to harvest and remove their crops and farm produce within two weeks and to completely vacate the designated portions.
The University Management further warned that all farming, cultivation, and planting activities must cease immediately on the affected lands, as the areas are required for physical development and other institutional projects.
Deadline: Two weeks from the date of issuance — 18 August 2026.
