Shettima Departs Ethiopia After Nigeria–Ethiopia Nutrition Leadership Exchange
Vice President Kashim Shettima has departed Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, for Abuja after concluding his engagements at the Nigeria–Ethiopia Nutrition Leadership Exchange, themed: “Moving the Needle on Nutrition.”
According to a statement by his spokesman, Stanley Nkwocha, during the three-day engagement, the Vice President led a Nigerian delegation comprising governors, ministers and other stakeholders in discussions and field visits focused on nutrition, agriculture, early childhood development, technology, financing and subnational delivery.
The visit also provided opportunities for Nigeria and Ethiopia to deepen cooperation and share practical lessons on improving nutrition outcomes, strengthening agricultural value chains and accelerating implementation at state, local government and community levels.
VP Shettima is expected to arrive in Abuja later today.
