Poco Lee Returns To Social Media After Weeks In UK Custody
Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Pascal Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has returned to social media weeks after he was detained in the United Kingdom over alleged sexual offences.

The dancer made his return on Tuesday through his Instagram account, where he shared a series of photographs and videos from London.

In the photos taken around Cabot Square, London, Poco Lee appeared relaxed as he walked through the area before later visiting a restaurant.

He also posted a video of himself preparing Chinese food while listening to music.
He captioned the post simply, “ODINAKA.”

Poco Lee’s return comes weeks after he was granted bail by a UK court on September 11, following his detention over allegations of sexual assault.

According to court proceedings at Snaresbrook Crown Court, the dancer faces five charges, including two counts of rape, one count of attempted rape and two counts of assault by penetration.

The alleged offences were said to have occurred in Tower Hamlets, east London, on July 23, 2026.
The case remains active, despite claims circulating on social media that the complainant had withdrawn the allegations.

Poco Lee’s management has urged the public to refrain from spreading unverified information about the case and allow the legal process to take its course.

His next plea hearing is scheduled for February 8, 2027, while his trial is expected to commence on March 8, 2027.

Born on October 21, 1996, in Orlu, Imo State, Poco Lee was raised in Ojo, Lagos. He is the third of five children born to Kenneth and Augustina Iweh.

He attended Nigerian Navy Primary School and Command Day Secondary School in Lagos before proceeding to Lagos State University, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree.

The dancer reportedly acquired the nickname “Poco” during his junior secondary school days because of his small stature. The name was inspired by the musical expression “poco a poco,” meaning “little by little.”

Explaining the origin of his stage name, he once said, “They started calling me ‘Poco’. I added ‘Lee’ to spice it up.”
