Everton are weighing up a move for former England striker Jamie Vardy after failing to bring in a new forward on transfer deadline day.
Vardy, 39, is currently a free agent following his departure from Italian club Cremonese and has emerged as a potential short-term option for David Moyes’ side.
Everton could also turn to another experienced free agent, with former Manchester United and France striker Anthony Martial reportedly on their radar. The 30-year-old left Mexican club Monterrey and is available without a transfer fee.
Meanwhile, AC Milan are considering Wilfried Zaha as they assess free-agent options to strengthen the left side of their attack. The 33-year-old Ivory Coast winger is among the names being discussed by the Serie A giants.
At Chelsea, teenage Brazilian forward Estevao Willian is reportedly concerned about his first-team opportunities under manager Xabi Alonso. The 19-year-old could consider his future in January if his playing time remains limited.
Arsenal have also secured a January recall option for Ethan Nwaneri. The 19-year-old England Under-21 winger joined Borussia Dortmund on a season-long loan, but the Gunners can bring him back midway through the campaign if required.
