FIFA announces 2027 Women’s World Cup schedule
FIFA has unveiled the full match schedule for the 2027 Women’s World Cup in Brazil, with all 64 matches set to be played across eight host cities.

Hosts Brazil will kick off the tournament at the iconic Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro on June 24, 2027. Their other group-stage fixtures will take place in São Paulo on June 29 and Brasília on July 4.

Each host city will stage at least seven matches, including at least one knockout fixture. Brasília, Porto Alegre, Recife and Salvador will host matches through the Round of 16, while Belo Horizonte and Fortaleza will join Rio and São Paulo as quarter-final venues.

São Paulo will stage one semi-final and the third-place match, while the second semi-final and final will be played at the Maracanã.

The Maracanã will become only the third stadium in history to host both a men’s and women’s FIFA World Cup final, following the Råsunda Stadium in Sweden and the Rose Bowl in the United States.

FIFA said the schedule was designed to balance sporting fairness, travel demands and recovery time while giving supporters across Brazil the opportunity to experience the tournament.

The final schedule will be updated after the 2027 Women’s World Cup final draw, which is expected to take place later this year.
