Arsenal have opened talks with Real Madrid over a potential move for Brazilian forward Endrick, according to talkSPORT.
The 20-year-old has emerged as a target for several clubs following an impressive loan spell at Lyon last season.
Despite growing interest in the versatile attacker, Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has made it clear that the club are not looking to sell the youngster.
Mourinho is understood to be a strong admirer of Endrick and wants to work with him in Madrid this season.
The Brazilian has, however, attracted approaches from several clubs interested in either a permanent transfer or loan deal.
Arsenal are now prepared to test Real Madrid’s resolve after making an official approach for the player.
