Arsenal Hit By Fresh Injury Blow As Konsa Leaves England Camp
Arsenal have been handed a fresh injury concern after defender Ezri Konsa was ruled out of England’s final international fixture against the Czech Republic on Tuesday.

Konsa has been managing a slight muscle problem during the international break and initially missed training before returning to action in England’s 7-0 demolition of Croatia on Saturday.

The Arsenal defender completed the full 90 minutes in that emphatic victory but has now withdrawn from the England camp and returned to his club for further assessment.

According to reports, Arsenal medical staff will evaluate Konsa to determine the extent of the problem and whether he will be fit for Saturday’s Premier League clash against Leeds at the Emirates Stadium.

The development could be a concern for manager Mikel Arteta, particularly with Arsenal preparing to resume their league campaign following the international break.

There is, however, some positive news for the Gunners in defence.
Ben White, Piero Hincapie and Cristhian Mosquera have all returned to training during the international break, boosting Arteta’s defensive options ahead of the Leeds fixture.

White and Mosquera had been nursing injuries before the break, but their return to training could provide timely reinforcements should Konsa be ruled out.

Arsenal will now await the results of Konsa’s assessment before determining whether the England international can feature against Leeds or will require a spell on the sidelines.
